Getting started
Creating an account, signing in and completing guided setup.
Who is the Professional account designed for?
It is designed for real estate agents, brokerages, home inspectors, property managers, insurance professionals, home-warranty companies and other professionals who want to prepare home-maintenance plans for clients across the United States.
How do I create a Professional account?
Use your email address to create a password of at least 10 characters. After the account is created, you move directly into the guided setup for your professional profile, provider recommendations and subscription.
Do I need an email code to create or access the account?
No. Professional accounts use an email address and password. Email codes are not part of the Professional account sign-in flow.
How do I sign back in?
Open the Professional account page, choose Sign in, and enter the email address and password used for the account. If you are still signed in, the far-right header button says My Pro Account and opens your setup or dashboard automatically.
What if I forget my password?
Choose Forgot password on the sign-in screen. If an account exists for that email, Front Range Home Helper sends a time-limited password-reset link. After you set the new password, other signed-in sessions are revoked for security.
Can I use my account on more than one device?
Yes. Sign in with the same email address and password on any supported device. A signed-in session can remain active on a device for up to 30 days unless you sign out, clear site data or reset the password.
What happens immediately after I create the account?
You enter a separate three-step setup page. First you complete your professional profile, then review your provider recommendations, and finally activate the subscription. The client-plan tools stay out of the way until the subscription is active.
Can I leave setup and return later?
Yes. Your completed profile and saved provider recommendations remain attached to the account. Sign in again to continue from the setup stage that still needs attention.
When does the full Professional Dashboard open?
The full dashboard opens after Stripe confirms that the subscription is active or trialing. Until then, the guided setup keeps you focused on the profile, provider checklist and subscription.
Subscription and billing
Pricing, access, cancellation and the difference between software and advertising.
How much does a Professional account cost?
The Professional account is $5 per month. It is a flat-rate software subscription.
What is included in the subscription?
An active subscription includes unlimited client-plan creation, a separate Professional Dashboard, client-invitation tracking, optional professional branding in client emails, private provider-contact management and per-plan recommendation selection.
Is there a limit on how many client plans I can create?
No. You can create as many client plans as needed while the Professional subscription is active.
Do my clients have to pay anything?
No. The homeowner planner, accepted maintenance plan, email reminders, eligible weather-aware home alerts and private Home Maintenance Dashboard remain free for the homeowner.
How is payment handled?
Subscription checkout and billing are handled securely through Stripe. Front Range Home Helper does not place your full card details inside the Professional Dashboard.
How do I update my payment method or view billing details?
Open the Billing area in the Professional Dashboard and choose Manage billing. That opens the secure Stripe customer portal for payment-method and subscription management.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. Use the Stripe billing portal from your dashboard. If cancellation is scheduled for the end of the current billing period, the dashboard shows the date your access is expected to end.
What happens when paid access ends?
Professional-only tools stop, including new client-plan creation and active professional recommendations. Plans already accepted by homeowners remain theirs, and their ordinary free homeowner experience continues.
What happens if a payment becomes past due?
The setup and billing screen directs you to update the payment method. Professional-only access requires Stripe to report an active or trialing subscription.
Is the $5 subscription the same as featured advertising?
No. The Professional account is software for creating client plans and managing your own recommendations. Featured placements purchased by home-service companies are separate advertising and are clearly labeled.
Profile and branding
What clients see in the professional card attached to their emails.
Which profile field is required?
Your first name is required. Your last name, business or organization, profession, phone number, public email and professional photo or business logo are optional.
Where does my professional information appear?
The information you choose to show can appear in a premium Plan originally prepared by card near the bottom of future maintenance and weather-aware emails for clients who accepted a plan you prepared.
Can I preview the card before subscribing?
Yes. The guided profile step includes a live preview so you can review the name, business, profession, phone, email and image before moving to provider recommendations and checkout.
Do I have to upload a photo or logo?
No. An image is optional. If you add one, use a JPG, PNG or WebP file up to 2 MB. You can replace or remove it later.
Can I show a professional photo instead of a company logo?
Yes. Use whichever image is most appropriate for how clients know you: a professional headshot or a business logo.
Will my account email automatically appear to clients?
No. The account email is used for account and service messages. It appears on the client card only if you select the option to show it.
How should I enter a phone number?
Enter a 10-digit U.S. phone number. The form formats it as 000-000-0000, and the client card does not add an unnecessary leading 1.
Can I change my profile after subscribing?
Yes. Open the Profile & branding area in the Professional Dashboard. The preview updates with the information you enter, including after an image is uploaded.
Does my branding make me the owner of the homeowner’s account?
No. Your card identifies who originally prepared the plan. After acceptance, the homeowner owns and manages the private home account.
Provider recommendations
Entering private contacts, previewing them and choosing them for each client plan.
How do I save a provider recommendation?
Open Recommended providers, choose a home-service type and enter the company name, individual contact name or both. Add at least one way for the client to make contact: a phone number, email address or website. Then choose Add as recommendation.
Does the provider have to be listed in the public directory?
No. Professional recommendations are private contacts that you enter yourself. They do not depend on a public directory profile, directory city or administrative approval.
Which provider fields are required?
Enter at least one identity field—a company name or contact name—and at least one contact method—a phone number, email address or website. All other fields are optional.
Can I save more than one provider for the same service?
Yes. You can keep multiple trusted contacts under the same service. When finalizing a client plan, you choose up to three of them for each matching maintenance reminder or supported weather-alert type.
Do my recommendations have to match the client’s city?
No. A selected professional recommendation takes priority for that client plan regardless of the client's ZIP code. You are responsible for confirming that the contact is willing and able to serve the client.
What happens when I leave a service blank?
No professional recommendation is inserted for that service. When the client home is inside a current Front Range Home Helper directory market and a relevant listing is available, the ordinary local-help section may appear. Outside local directory coverage, the email can simply present the maintenance guidance without a provider block.
Can I decide which providers appear for each client?
Yes. The final review of a professional-built plan shows the matching saved contacts for every applicable maintenance reminder and supported weather-alert type. Use the checkboxes to select up to three for that client.
Can recommendations appear in weather-aware alerts?
Yes. Saved contacts can be selected for freeze, winter-storm, flood, hail, heat, wind, tropical and wildfire-related home-care alerts when the provider's service type matches the alert.
Can I enter a specific person at a company?
Yes. Enter the company, the individual point of contact or both. The email can show the contact name together with the phone, email and website you provide.
Can I include a note for the client?
Yes. Add an optional note of up to 75 characters. The email labels it with your first name, such as Note from Maya: Ask for Linda or Greg.
Who can see my private provider contacts?
They stay inside your Professional account and are included only in relevant emails for clients whose plans use that recommendation. They are not written to the public directory or made available to other Professional accounts.
Can I preview how a recommendation will look?
Yes. Open a saved recommendation and choose Show example email. The preview uses the same recommendation template as live client emails and reflects the current name, company, contact methods and optional note.
Does recommending a provider make it a paid advertisement?
No. A professional recommendation reflects that professional’s saved preference. Featured paid placements are a separate system and are labeled as advertisements.
Does Front Range Home Helper verify or guarantee a provider I enter?
No. The professional supplies the contact and remains responsible for keeping it accurate and appropriate. A recommendation is not a guarantee of licensing, insurance, workmanship, availability, service area or fit for a particular project. Homeowners should verify current information before hiring.
Can I change my recommendations later?
Yes. Open Recommended providers from the Professional Dashboard to add, edit or remove contacts and review their email presentation. Existing accepted client plans retain the recommendation snapshots selected during their handoff; account edits apply when you build future client plans.
Client plans and handoff
Building plans, sending invitations and transferring control to the homeowner.
How do I create a plan for a client?
Open the Professional Dashboard and choose Create a client plan. Enter the client's U.S. ZIP code, answer the home questions relevant to that climate and property, review the generated schedule, then complete the client-specific email and provider selections.
How does the planner account for different climates?
The client ZIP code is matched to an official DOE/PNNL IECC climate-zone classification. Deterministic rules use its temperature zone and moisture regime to show relevant questions and shape initial dates. The system does not use AI to guess a client's climate or equipment.
Can a homeowner still build a free plan without a professional?
Yes. The standard homeowner planner remains free and unchanged for people building a plan for their own home. Creating a plan for someone else is reserved for an active Professional account.
Can I review which providers each task will recommend?
Yes. The final plan screen includes a simple recommendation control for every applicable maintenance reminder and supported weather-alert type. It shows the matching providers you saved and lets you select up to three.
What does the homeowner receive?
The homeowner receives a one-time invitation with a complete read-only review link and a reference copy of the proposed plan. The review shows the home, tasks, dates, timing and selected email options before anything starts.
Does opening the invitation activate the plan?
No. Opening the link does not accept the plan and does not begin recurring email. The homeowner must review the plan, check the acknowledgement and explicitly choose to accept and activate it.
What happens when the homeowner accepts?
The homeowner becomes the primary account owner, the selected reminders and eligible weather-aware alerts become active, and the homeowner receives the secure Home Maintenance Dashboard. You receive one email confirming acceptance.
What if the homeowner declines?
The invitation is deactivated and recurring plan emails do not begin. A declined or canceled draft does not become an active homeowner plan.
Can I see whether the client accepted?
Yes. The Client plans area shows whether an invitation is awaiting homeowner review or has been accepted, along with relevant sent and accepted dates.
Can I resend an invitation?
Yes. While a plan is still waiting for acceptance, use Send invitation or Resend invitation from the Client plans area.
What if the first invitation email could not be delivered?
The plan remains saved. Do not rebuild it. Open Client plans and use the send or resend control after the email issue has been corrected.
Can I cancel a plan that has not been accepted?
Yes. Use Cancel draft while the homeowner is still awaiting review. The invitation stops working and the draft is removed from your client-plan list.
Can I change or cancel a plan after the homeowner accepts?
No. After acceptance, the professional account can no longer change or cancel the plan. The homeowner owns the plan and controls its tasks, dates, recipients and weather settings from the private Home Maintenance Dashboard.
Can I create several plans for the same client?
Yes, when the client has more than one home or genuinely needs separate home records. Each plan should use the correct home information and homeowner email.
Will my professional card appear in every client email?
While your subscription is active, eligible maintenance and weather-aware emails for accepted client plans can include the professional card using the optional details you chose to display.
Do I receive the homeowner’s recurring reminders?
No. The homeowner receives the recurring home-care messages. You receive service messages related to the handoff, such as confirmation that the invitation was sent or accepted.
Can the homeowner edit the plan after acceptance?
Yes. The homeowner can change dates and frequencies, enable or disable individual emails, manage weather-alert settings, add recipients, record completed work and update the private home record.
Privacy, security and support
The boundary between your business account and each client’s private home record.
Is the Professional Dashboard separate from the Home Maintenance Dashboard?
Yes. They are separate account experiences. Your Professional Dashboard manages your profile, recommendations, billing and limited client-handoff status. It does not become a homeowner dashboard.
Can I see a client’s private home records?
No. You cannot open the homeowner’s maintenance history, equipment records, documents, completed work, private dashboard or later plan changes.
What client information remains visible to me?
The Professional Dashboard keeps limited handoff information for plans you created, such as the home label, homeowner name and email, location, reminder count, weather-alert selection and invitation or acceptance status.
Does Front Range Home Helper sell client information?
No. Front Range Home Helper does not sell or rent homeowner email addresses or personal plan information. Information is used to operate the requested plan, account and communication features described on the site.
Are my private provider contacts public?
No. A provider contact stays within your Professional account and is used only in recommendations delivered to your clients. It is not written to the public directory.
What should I do on a shared or public computer?
Choose Sign out before leaving the device. Do not save the password in a browser you do not control.
What emails will the Professional account send me?
Account and service messages can include the welcome email, password-reset link, client-invitation receipt and homeowner-acceptance confirmation. Stripe separately handles billing communications configured for the subscription.
Where can I read the privacy and subscription terms?
Use the site’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. They cover Professional accounts, client-plan boundaries, communications and paid services.
How do I contact support?
Email hello@frontrangehomehelper.com and include the account email, the page where the issue occurred, your device and browser, and a clear description of what happened. Do not email passwords, API keys or full card numbers.
