Terms

Important limits around directory profiles, maintenance guidance, DIY instructions, reminders and advertising.

Directory information

Business profiles are a starting point. Homeowners should confirm current licensing or registration when applicable, insurance, pricing, scope and warranty directly with the provider.

Featured advertising

Featured placements are paid advertisements and are labeled separately from standard directory profiles.

Google Maps ratings and reviews

Some business profiles display current Google Maps information. Ratings, review counts, reviewer names, review text and related links are supplied by Google Maps and may change. Front Range Home Helper does not edit, verify or guarantee Google Maps reviews and is not responsible for their availability. Google Maps content is governed by the Google Maps Platform Terms and related Google policies.

DIY and maintenance guidance

The planner and DIY pages provide general educational guidance. Manufacturer instructions, local code, actual equipment condition and qualified professional findings take priority. Do not perform work you cannot do safely.

Climate-zone scheduling

The planner uses a ZIP-to-climate-zone lookup derived from published U.S. Department of Energy and Pacific Northwest National Laboratory IECC county classifications, followed by deterministic rules that shape relevant questions and initial seasonal timing. A climate zone describes broad regional conditions; it does not determine a property's elevation, microclimate, construction, equipment, installation details or current condition. Suggested dates are planning references, not forecasts, inspections or guarantees.

General information, safety and responsibility

Front Range Home Helper provides general educational home-maintenance information, scheduling tools, weather-related home-care prompts and directory information. The site does not inspect your property, diagnose equipment, verify that a procedure is appropriate for your specific home, or replace manufacturer instructions, applicable codes, official emergency guidance or advice from a qualified professional.

You are responsible for deciding whether work can be performed safely and for hiring appropriately qualified professionals when needed. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Front Range Home Helper and its operator are not responsible for property damage, personal injury, loss, costs or other consequences arising from work performed or not performed in reliance on general site guidance, reminders, weather alerts, directory information or third-party provider services. Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility that cannot legally be excluded.

Plans prepared for a client or homeowner

If you prepare a plan for someone else, you must have permission to send that homeowner the one-time plan invitation and you must provide accurate information. The plan remains inactive until the homeowner accepts. Acceptance makes the homeowner's email the primary account email and gives that homeowner control of the plan. The preparer does not receive ongoing account-editing access.

Professional accounts and monthly subscriptions

The professional account is a separate paid software service. The current advertised price is $5 per month unless a different price is clearly shown at checkout. Stripe handles payment and cancellation controls. Subscriptions continue until canceled and access normally remains available through the paid billing period. Taxes, if applicable, may be added by the payment processor. Front Range Home Helper may change future pricing with advance notice where required, but a checkout page controls the price actually agreed to for that subscription.

An active subscription is required to create new client plans, manage private provider recommendations and apply the current professional profile to future client emails. Canceling does not take ownership of accepted plans away from homeowners. Existing homeowner schedules remain controlled by their homeowners and may continue as ordinary Front Range Home Helper plans. Historical attribution may remain, while subscription-only professional recommendations and active branding features stop when access ends.

Preferred providers are professional recommendations

Providers saved or selected by a professional are that professional's recommendations, not independent rankings or guarantees by Front Range Home Helper. A professional may enter a company, individual point of contact, phone number, email address, website and short note, then choose up to three saved contacts for a matching maintenance reminder or supported weather-alert type. Those selections can be used regardless of the client's location and do not require a public directory profile. The professional is responsible for keeping recommendations accurate, appropriate and authorized, confirming service availability, and complying with applicable disclosure, licensing, insurance, referral, advertising, real-estate, insurance and other professional requirements. Front Range Home Helper does not pay a referral fee for work awarded through this feature. Homeowners remain responsible for evaluating and hiring providers.

Account security and acceptable use

You are responsible for protecting your password, password-reset links and devices that can access the professional dashboard. Do not use the service for unsolicited messages, misleading endorsements, unlawful referral arrangements, impersonation, or client information you are not authorized to provide. Front Range Home Helper may suspend access needed to protect users, the service or third parties from suspected misuse.

Home records, uploads and shared reports

The Home Logbook, Equipment Vault and document tools are homeowner-maintained records. Front Range Home Helper does not independently certify that a logged repair, inspection, improvement, contractor visit or uploaded document is accurate or complete. You are responsible for the files and information you add. Temporary read-only report links should be shared only with people you intend to give access to the report.

Provider comparison and quote matching

Saving, comparing or selecting a business for quote matching does not endorse that provider or guarantee a response, appointment, price or completed project. Quote requests are intended to help organize and match a homeowner request with selected directory options; homeowners should still verify the business and project terms before hiring.

Project cost guides

Project cost guides are general budgeting references based on the cited source and review date shown on each guide. They are not quotes, appraisals or guarantees of local pricing. Actual project cost can vary substantially with scope, materials, equipment, access, existing conditions, permits and contractor pricing.

Reminder delivery and account controls

Email delivery can be delayed or fail for reasons outside the site's control. Homeowners remain responsible for maintaining their property and should not rely on a reminder as a safety guarantee.

Each saved home has one plan manager who controls plan changes, task settings, completion records, weather-alert preferences and recipients. People receiving shared reminders do not receive plan-editing controls and may stop their own reminder access at any time. Stopping shared reminder access removes that address from the home’s recipient list and may send an account notice to the plan manager. An account may contain multiple managed homes and may separately list homes where reminders were shared with that email address.

Weather-related home guidance

Weather home alerts are available for eligible U.S. home plans and provide general home-care guidance using National Weather Service alert data, the approximate ZIP-area location and the home profile saved in the plan. An official alert can cover a broad area and does not prove that the property experienced the same conditions as every other location in the alert area. These messages are not emergency warnings and should not replace official weather alerts, evacuation instructions, utility guidance, equipment manuals or professional advice. Never enter an unsafe area, climb onto a roof or inspect storm damage while conditions are active or visibility is poor.
